Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told Jose Mourinho he wants to rejoin Manchester United once recovered from a serious injury, according to the Daily Mail.

The cruciate ligament rupture Zlatan suffered in April curtailed a fantastic debut season at Old Trafford, where he scored 28 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions.

His one-year contract was not renewed as a result of the injury, but the 36-year-old is expected to return in the new year and he has set his sights on another spell at the Red Devils.
